Dona Maria Nopalitos are tender chopped pear cactus plants. Dona Maria Nopalitos are harvested from San Luis Potosi in Central Mexico. They are seasoned naturally with onions, Serrano peppers and cilantro, creating a fresh, homemade flavor.
Nopalitos are low in fat and high in calcium and vitamin A. Vegetarians, take note: nopalitos make for a delicious meat alternative in many dishes, such as casseroles.
